Rev. Brad Hirst

Pastor, Second Christian Congregational

Rev. Brad Hirst has served as pastor of Second
Christian Church since 2002. Throughout these years
Brad has also had the honor of serving alongside
members of the Kittery community in a number of
roles.

Brad served on the board of Fair Tide, a Kittery
non-profit that works to connect local families
experiencing homelessness with permanent
housing, serving two years as Chair. He has also been
a member of the organizing team for the Kittery
Block Party for the last decade, and is a past
President and current active member of the Kittery
Rotary “Breakfast Club”.
In addition to serving as Chaplain for the Kittery Police Department, he has been an Umpire for Little League baseball for nearly 20 years. Most recently, Brad’s involvement with the dedicated members of Community Advocates for All, a local group committed to social justice, has challenged Brad to shine a “justice light” on every aspect of his ministry.

When he’s not in the pulpit, Brad enjoys hiking in the White Mountains, baking bread, and riding his Harley. He calls Kittery Point home along with his wife Linda (who is also a pastor), son Nate, and their high-spirited mostly-Lab named Lola. You might also find him enjoying a local craft brew or bite to eat at one of Kittery's many excellent restaurants.
