Gathering together in worship is what nurtures and equips us for the work we are called to do beyond these doors! Join us in-person or on Facebook Live every Sunday at 10:00am. We share Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month, and celebrate the second Sunday of every month with inspirational jazz from our Second Sunday Jazz Trio along with an occasional special guest musician! Being the Church
As a Member church of the York Association of Congregational Christian Churches as well as the Maine Conference, United Church of Christ, one way we can BE THE CHURCH is recognizing that we are in Covenant with 20 other churches in York County and another 144 across the great State of Maine. We live out that covenantal relationship with the wider Church through the voluntary giving of Fellowship Dues. These funds help support the mission and ministry of both our Maine Conference and our York Association. This crucial financial support unites us in a common ministry that helps provide pastoral leadership to churches in transition, timely crisis response to churches, and continuing education and nurture to both clergy and laity. Our Fellowship Dues also help fund important ministries of our Maine Conference, like outdoor ministries at our beloved Pilgrim Lodge, the education of clergy and laity through the Maine School for Ministry, and providing youth leadership development, small church guidance and many other ministries. This year our Fellowship Dues amount to $20.14 per person, which includes $19.39 for the operations of The Maine Conference and $0.75 for our York Association. Our church covers this contribution on behalf of all of our Members and Friends, but we do invite each of You to affirm your support by making your own contribution as a sign of your commitment to this Covenant. You can place your voluntary contribution in the offering plate any Sunday morning, or make a safe and secure gift HERE |
